Kaleido — Terms of Service
Using Kaleido
You may use Kaleido for personal, family, homeschool, and classroom learning. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, scrape it in a way that harms availability, attempt to bypass security, or use its content unlawfully. Children must use Kaleido under the supervision and permission of a parent, guardian, or teacher.
Current access
Kaleido offers a free starter experience and one optional Full Access subscription for families and educators. The current price is shown before purchase. A parent, guardian, or teacher—not a child—must create the adult account and authorize payment.
Subscriptions
Full Access renews monthly until canceled. You can cancel through the Stripe-hosted billing portal linked from Account & Access. Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues through the paid billing period. Except where required by law, charges already paid are not automatically refunded. If a billing or access error occurs, contact us so we can investigate.
Educational content
We review child-facing facts and media carefully, but educational information can contain errors or become outdated. Kaleido supplements—not replaces—a teacher's or guardian's judgment. External services such as maps, imagery, AI, authentication, and payments may occasionally be unavailable.
Intellectual property
Kaleido's software, design, and original text are protected by applicable law. Some photographs, geographic data, and 3D models are provided under their own credited licenses. Access to the service does not transfer ownership or permit resale of Kaleido content.
Changes and termination
We may improve, change, or discontinue features and may update these terms. We may restrict access for serious misuse. If terms change materially, the effective date above will be updated.
